BAI Atelier discovers independent makers across China and brings together objects that feel both rooted and alive — made to be used, not displayed.

Objects are more than things. They hold time, culture and a way of living. We choose pieces you will touch every day — a cup you drink from, a flame you light, a branch you cut in spring and bring indoors.
Culture does not need to be kept behind glass. The objects we carry are meant to be lit, filled with flowers, drunk from and lived beside.
Every object begins with a person, a place and a process. We work directly with independent studios and name them wherever we can.
We do not ask a studio to hurry a drying or repeat a pierced pattern exactly. The variation is the record of how the object was made.
