Light · Tea Cup
A small tea cup in pale celadon, left unglazed at the rim so the lip meets clay rather than glass.
$49
Quiet Cup is thrown thin enough to be held by the rim without feeling fragile. The body carries a soft celadon glaze that pools slightly in the foot, and the lip is wiped clean before firing so it stays bare — unglazed porcelain against the mouth rather than glaze.
At 60 ml it is sized for the way Chinese tea is actually drunk: small, repeated, and hot. The low foot ring also means the cup can be cupped entirely in one hand.
Hand wash and dry upside down. Like most thin porcelain it will build up a tea stain over time — this is normal, and some people deliberately encourage it.
